This website is for my Photo_33 Class ; Portrait Photography and Photo_136 Video for Photographers.
My first assignment is called, "Me, Myselfie, and I." My team and I made a video showing the steps people usually take when taking a selfie as well as other topics regarding the selfie taking.
Here's the video we made:

Photo_33 Presentation about ourselves:
For Photo 33 We had to do a presentation about "Myself", and was told that I needed work on my speech. For example I tend to say "ummm" and "ahh" when transitioning from one topic to the other. I definitely agree with my professor Melanie. I'm confident that my presentations will become more clear and natural by the end of this class. The link to my Pinterest presentation board is below:
Photo 33 Me, My Selfie, And I thoughts :
Since mankind has been able to see the reflection of oneself there has been attempts and success in either drawing, painting or capturing ones image and creating a self portrait. In 2002 in Australia the word selfie was created in the down under continent where they have a habit of shortening and adding "ie" at the end of some of their words( barbie, Aussie, undies, wettie, etc.). In 2011 Jennifer Lee hash tagged "selfie" on Instagram erupting in 50million hashtags around the world after. With the help of celebrities the Selfie will not be going anywhere any time soon. In my opinion the selfie has to be breath taking, for example:
The Selfie has the power to work for you or against you. In James Wolcott article he had some agreeable points that he stated regarding the way you take a selfie. Selfie takers have to be highly aware of their backgrounds and the way they hashtag their photograph on social media. As we all know the internet can be a harsh judgmental place where no one is afraid to speak their mind if one were to make a mistake. Keep in mind anyone can act tough when they aren't in front of you, and can criticise you very harshly at the comfort and safety of their home. Also selfie takers need to stop climbing historical statues that are in the prices of millions of dollars and damaging them. In the end I'm sure the selfie won't die down for years to come Mr. Wolcott. It’s technology, so it’s distressing to the older generation. So either you go with the flow or hate it like and old person that hates advancement.
Photo 136 Documentary
Had an assignment where we had to create a short documentary film. This is my first ever documentary, and I am not that experienced in editing video. Although apparently I did really well in this assignment.
The greatest challenge I had with this whole project was that I lacked the professional equipment to produce audio at an advanced level. Nonetheless I was very please with the actor and my result.
Photo 33 Portrait
For Portrait class we had to display 5-8 photographs that we needed to use to describe ourselves. Above are the six photographs I chose. Growing up I was always around the farm and at an early age I learned how to ride horses as well as how to care for many farm animals. The tasks handed to me when I was around my uncles farm where a bit tiring an not easy. Yet there was always that sense of accomplishment and peacefulness after I had finished them. As soon as my chores where done I would hop on a horse and go out for a ride.

Our professor Melanie assigned us groups where we had to produce multiple portraits for each other, and I gotta say we had the funnest laid-back group.
